Prepare before the appointment.

Plain-English guides for the documents Rouge handles most often, plus practical preparation information for common appointments.

Before the appointment

Make the first conversation more useful.

You do not need to know the legal name of every document. A few basic details are usually enough for Rouge to identify the right starting point and tell you what to gather next.

01

Know the goal

Tell Rouge what you are trying to accomplish. If you are unsure which document fits, describe the situation in plain English.

02

Gather the names

Have the full legal names of the people involved and any existing documents, titles, deeds, or records connected to the matter.

03

Ask what to bring

Call or text before the appointment if you are unsure. Rouge will tell you what identification, records, witnesses, or supporting information may be needed.
