Effective Date: May 29, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Rouge Notary & Tax Services website, appointment links, contact methods, communications, online tools, and online intake system. By accessing this website, submitting information, scheduling an appointment, using Tax Portal, or communicating with Rouge Notary & Tax Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use this website, a linked Rouge tax portal, or any Rouge online intake tool.
Rouge Notary & Tax Services provides notarial, tax, document-preparation, intake, appointment-preparation, and related services within the scope permitted by applicable law. Services may include notarial acts, estate-planning intake, wills, mandates and powers of attorney, successions, donations, real estate documents, title and vehicle matters, business documents, tax-related intake, and other document-related services.
Rouge may update, change, expand, limit, suspend, or discontinue any service or online tool at any time.
Rouge provides civil-law notary services and tax services as distinct professional functions. Use of this website, a linked Rouge tax portal, or Rouge's civil-law notary services does not create an attorney-client relationship.
On the Louisiana civil-law notary side, Rouge may prepare, receive, authenticate, and assist with documents and notarial acts within the authority granted to Louisiana notaries. Rouge does not represent any party as an attorney or legal counsel in connection with those documents, does not litigate disputes, and does not appear as counsel in court. Matters requiring attorney representation or services reserved to licensed attorneys should be handled by a licensed attorney.
Rouge's tax services are separate. When Rouge or the individual providing the service is authorized under applicable federal or state law, tax services may include tax advice, tax opinions, and representation before the Internal Revenue Service or other taxing authorities. The scope of any tax representation depends on the credential and authority of the tax professional handling the matter.
Rouge intake tools are used to collect information for review, service preparation, appointment preparation, and document-related workflows. The intake tools themselves do not independently make professional determinations or provide legal or tax advice; information submitted through them is reviewed as part of the requested Rouge service.
Submitting information, requesting an appointment, using a linked tax portal, receiving an access code, or contacting Rouge does not guarantee that Rouge can provide the requested service, prepare a document, complete a notarization, meet a deadline, accept a matter, or achieve any particular result.
Rouge may decline, delay, limit, or discontinue a service request when appropriate, including when information is incomplete, identity cannot be verified, required parties are unavailable, a request appears unlawful or improper, payment has not been made, the matter is outside Rouge services, a conflict or concern exists, or the matter should be reviewed by an attorney, tax professional, court, agency, or another qualified professional.
Rouge may use website forms, email, phone, text, appointment links, or other ordinary intake methods to collect enough information to review a requested notarial, document-preparation, or other service.
Submitting information through an intake method does not by itself create a professional engagement, require Rouge to accept the matter, or guarantee that a document or service can be completed. Rouge may request additional information or decline matters outside its scope, capacity, or lawful authority.
Rouge plans to link tax clients to a secure third-party Tax Portal later in 2026 for tax-only intake, document exchange, status updates, and filing workflow. The Tax Portal is not a system for Rouge civil-law notary or document services.
Tax Portal access is subject to the third-party provider’s own terms, privacy practices, security requirements, and account controls. You are responsible for protecting any login credentials and for using the portal only for your own authorized tax matter unless the provider and Rouge permit otherwise.
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for reviewing information before submitting it and for promptly notifying Rouge of any mistake, omission, change, or update.
You agree not to submit false information, impersonate another person, submit information without authorization, interfere with website security, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, disrupt website operation, or use Rouge systems for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
You should not submit information about another person unless you are authorized to do so or the information is reasonably necessary for the requested service.
This website, contact forms, email, text messages, appointment links, and Tax Portal are not emergency systems and are not monitored continuously.
Do not use this website or a linked tax portal for emergencies, urgent deadlines, court deadlines, legal deadlines, tax deadlines, expiring rights, imminent travel needs, medical emergencies, or other time-sensitive matters unless Rouge has specifically confirmed availability and accepted the request.
Appointment availability, service availability, pricing, travel charges, document-preparation fees, notarial fees, tax-related fees, and payment terms may vary depending on the requested service, complexity, location, travel, required parties, required documents, timing, and work involved.
Scheduling an appointment does not guarantee that Rouge can complete the requested service. Rouge may require additional information, identification, witnesses, signatures, payment, review, or professional referral before completing any service.
Fees, quoted prices, and estimates may change if the facts, requested services, documents, travel, urgency, or complexity change.
Rouge may require satisfactory identification, appropriate witnesses, complete information, proper parties, and other conditions before completing a notarial act or document-related service.
Rouge may refuse or stop a service if identity cannot be verified, capacity or willingness is in question, required parties or witnesses are unavailable, the request appears improper, incomplete, unlawful, misleading, coercive, fraudulent, outside Rouge services, or otherwise inappropriate.
If you request tax-related services, you are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely tax information. Rouge may rely on the information you provide unless further review, clarification, or documentation is requested.
Tax services may include preparation, tax advice, tax opinions, agency correspondence, and taxpayer representation to the extent Rouge or the individual providing the service is authorized to perform those services under applicable federal or state law. Any representation before the Internal Revenue Service or another taxing authority is limited to the scope permitted by the tax professional's credential and applicable law.
Rouge does not guarantee a specific tax result, refund amount, processing time, agency decision, audit outcome, or acceptance by any tax authority.
Rouge may use third-party services for scheduling, payments, email, hosting, domain management, notifications, maps, analytics, security, and other business operations. These services may include appointment platforms, payment processors, email providers, hosting providers, domain providers, and notification tools.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, security practices, outages, and limitations. Rouge is not responsible for third-party websites or services that Rouge does not control.
Client privacy is one of our utmost priorities. Information submitted to Rouge is handled according to the Rouge Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You may review the Privacy Policy here: Privacy Policy.
No website, email system, text message, electronic storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information unless it is needed for the requested service.

Rouge disclaims warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Rouge does not warrant that any website content, intake question, service description, appointment link, or online tool will be error-free, complete, current, secure, or suitable for your particular circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rouge Notary & Tax Services, its owner, employees, contractors, vendors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of this website, linked tax portal, appointment links, communications, third-party services, online tools, unavailable services, delayed responses, user-submitted errors, or unauthorized use.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rouge Notary & Tax Services, its owner, employees, contractors, vendors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website or intake tools, submission of false or unauthorized information, violation of these Terms, violation of another person's rights, unlawful conduct, or unauthorized use of Rouge materials or systems.
Rouge may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website, linked tax portal, or Rouge online tools after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for disputes shall be in a court of competent jurisdiction in Louisiana, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
